WWE Legend Jazz is Ready for a Sensational Return to Face Charlotte Flair After 16 Years

The wrestling world is abuzz with excitement as former WWE Women’s Champion Jazz hints at a stunning return to the squared circle, aiming to face none other than Charlotte Flair in a historic first-time-ever singles match. Jazz, a two-time women’s champion in WWE, is reportedly considering stepping out of retirement to take on one of the current top stars in the women’s division.

Jazz, whose time in WWE spanned from 2001 to 2004, with a brief ECW stint in 2006, made her mark as one of the most dominant female wrestlers of her era. During her initial WWE run, she achieved the prestigious honour of winning the Women’s Championship twice and left a lasting impression by defeating legendary competitors Lita and Trish Stratus at WrestleMania 18.

In a recent appearance on Rene Dupree’s Café de Rene podcast, Jazz shared her eagerness to square off against Charlotte Flair, showering her with praise for being the “total package” and a true worker in the ring. She expressed her willingness to come out of retirement, provided she undergoes a knee replacement and regains her in-ring shape.

Reflecting on Charlotte Flair’s prowess, Jazz stated, “They asked me if I would come out of retirement for anyone; who would it be? I said if I get a knee replacement and get back in shape, I’ll come out and wrestle Charlotte Flair. She’s a worker, you know, and I love it. She’s a worker, man. She’s the total package, she really is. This statement highlights Jazz’s admiration for Flair’s skills and the potential for a riveting showdown in the ring.

Jazz’s appreciation for her fellow wrestlers extended beyond Charlotte Flair, as she also noted Deonna Purrazzo as one of the standout talents in the industry. Jazz and Purrazzo locked horns in a career vs. title match at Impact Wrestling Hardcore Justice in 2021, with Purrazzo emerging victorious.

However, Jazz’s journey to embracing Charlotte Flair’s in-ring abilities wasn’t without its initial doubts. Flair often pays homage to her legendary father, Ric Flair, by incorporating his moves and mannerisms into her wrestling style. This initially concerned Jazz, who believed that Flair might struggle to establish her own identity in the ring.

Recalling her initial thoughts, Jazz stated, “At first I wasn’t feeling her. I felt she was trying to do too much like her dad. Man, be your own individual; be your own person. But the more I started to watch her over the years, the more I thought, F***, she’s good. This transformation of perception speaks to the evolution of Charlotte Flair’s wrestling persona and her ability to stand tall among the top superstars in WWE.

As the wrestling community awaits a potential comeback from Jazz and the possibility of a monumental clash between two generations of female wrestling excellence, the stage is set for a remarkable encounter that could add another legendary chapter to both women’s storied careers.
