AEW Rampage Preview And Prediction: When And Where To Watch In USA & India – 17th November 2023

1 years ago By Sports Desk

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has an exciting doubleheader tonight as Collision takes place before Rampage, running head-to-head with WWE’s SmackDown. Rampage airs live for the second consecutive week from the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California.

The Collision preview already covered the lone event taking place at the Kia Forum outside of AEW’s debut last year. Remarkably, this venue has seen so little wrestling given its history. The Kia Forum was once as popular an arena as Madison Square Garden. The most glaring non-use comes from earlier this year when WWE held WrestleMania at the new SoFi Stadium.

In conjunction with the massive two-night event, WWE held its other typical weekend shows at the Crypto.com Arena. SmackDown, NXT Stand & Deliver and Raw all took place at Crypto despite the Kia Forum being right next to SoFi Stadium. The 40-minute drive to Crypto makes the 3,000-seat difference seem not worth it. Just an odd decision.

Now let’s preview the action set for AEW Rampage tonight, November 17th, 2023; ‘The Remarkable’ Renee Paquette has a difficult task interviewing both competitors in Full Gear’s main event separately. First, she sits down with the challenger, ‘Switchblade’ Jay White, who has kept the stolen AEW World Championship for 6 weeks. White has evaded the rightful champion MJF thanks to Bullet Club members Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn.

Jay White has expressed himself thoroughly regarding the Full Gear title match. It’s unclear what more he could say at this point. While White may not have much left to discuss, MJF certainly does. He not only has the main event title defense but also competes in the Full Gear Zero Hour pre-show. MJF will defend the ROH Tag Team Titles without a partner since Adam Cole’s ankle injury. MJF can choose a replacement partner, but a mysterious “Devil” and allies have ensured he has zero friends left for the event. Samoa Joe offered to team with MJF if guaranteed a World Title rematch. Will MJF accept friendship or find another solution? We may not know until Full Gear.

Toni’s Timeless Tune-Up; Sometimes AEW is too subtle for its own good. After meeting superfan Mariah May, ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm requested a tune-up match and loofah from Tony Khan. She battles Emi Sakura, who trained Hikaru Shida. Like Shida, Sakura has faced Storm twice without beating her. It will be interesting to see if Sakura can secure an upset victory or if Toni will dominate the tune-up match.

The card looks packed with the two big interviews and an intriguing tune-up match for Toni Storm. Rampage will aim to build excitement and final hype for the Full Gear pay-per-view taking place on Sunday night.

AEW Rampage airs every Friday at 10 pm EST on TNT in the United States. The show also streams Fridays at 10 pm EST on Fite TV internationally. Indian fans can watch AEW Rampage on Eurosport at 7:30 am IST on Saturdays. The show also airs at 10 pm IST on Saturday nights on Eurosport.

Rampage looks to build excitement for Full Gear, which takes place this Sunday live on pay-per-view. The event has consistently delivered quality wrestling and drama over the years. While not AEW’s biggest show, Full Gear has become a marquee PPV on the calendar.

With the World and Trios Title matches headlining, plus grudge matches like Saraya vs Baker and Jungle Boy vs Luchasaurus, Full Gear shapes up as a must-see event. Tonight’s Rampage starts the final build to get fans hyped for Sunday’s big show.
