This tournament will mark the return of the Men’s NXT Breakout Tournament, as which was held in 2021.

In 2021, Carmelo Hayes won the Men’s Breakout Tournament. and he claimed both the NXT North American Championship and the NXT Championship soon after. In the realm of women’s wrestling, Roxanne Perez triumphed in the 2022 NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament. While Perez couldn’t secure the NXT Women’s Championship from Mandy Rose right away, she showcased resilience by winning the Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline and eventually dethroning Rose.

Most recently, Lola Vice clinched victory in the 2023 NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament by defeating Kelani Jordan in the finals on the October 31 episode of WWE NXT.

Now, a new crop of NXT Superstars will compete for career-changing opportunities. Here are the standout participants slated for the upcoming NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament:

Riley Osborne is an exciting high-flyer who wows crowds with his aerial manoeuvrability. His unique offensive moves mirror his eccentric personality. Osborne brings plenty of flair anytime he steps in the ring.

Keanu Carver combines explosive strength with catlike agility. This dangerous combination allows Carver to overpower opponents quickly. His thunderous slams often leave the NXT Universe breathless.

Tavion Heights offers a wealth of experience gained from wrestling all over the independent scene. Heights finally earned an NXT contract and looks to validate himself in the Breakout Tournament. His well-rounded skill set should not be overlooked.

Dion Lennox carries an air of intensity that is palpable anytime he competes. Lennox unleashes blistering strikes to pummel his adversaries. If given an opening, Lennox can defeat anyone on the NXT roster.

Luca Crusifino is a submission specialist who can contort opponents into excruciating holds. Once Crusifino snakes a limb, his vice-like grip is nearly impossible to escape. Crusifino’s knowledge of human anatomy makes him a frightening foe.

Myles Borne is a promising upstart who has only just begun to tap into his potential. Borne is still developing his style but has shown flashes of brilliance when allowed to open up his offense. The Breakout Tournament offers Borne a chance to break through.

Trey Bearhill is a towering figure who uses his exceptional size and shocking agility to impose his will. Bearhill steamrolls anyone unlucky enough to stand across the ring. His combination of size and speed results in pure dominance.

Oba Femi is a high-energy dynamo capable of catching fire in a hurry. Once Femi builds momentum, he becomes an unstoppable force. Femi’s offensive bursts showcase the type of ability that could see him rapidly ascend the NXT ranks.

The journeys of these eight NXT Superstars promise to captivate audiences as they vie for recognition and a chance to make a resounding impact. Their paths will begin to unfold when the NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament kicks off on the December 12 edition of WWE NXT, airing live on USA Network.

The inaugural tournament match will feature Riley Osborne taking on Keanu Carver. This high-flying and hard-hitting clash of styles should set the tone for the competitive action to come.

The winning competitor will move on to meet the victor of Dion Lennox vs Luca Crusifino. Lennox brings an intense brawling style while Crusifino counters with patented submissions. Their opposing strengths seem destined for a thrilling conflict.

On the other side of the bracket, Myles Borne will square off against the mammoth Trey Bearhill. Borne faces a towering task, literally, to overcome Bearhill’s impressive stature and shocking athleticism. This battle of youth versus experience should prove compelling.

The winner there gets the survivor of Tavion Heights vs Oba Femi. Heights is crafty and well-traveled while Femi is an explosive sparkplug capable of pulling off upsets. This battle will likely come down to whether Femi can sustain his frantic pace.

Their varying styles and backgrounds are sure to mesh into captivating matches. With an opportunity to significantly advance their NXT journey on the line, each competitor figures to pull out all the stops.
