AEW fans were in for a remarkable three-hour spectacle on November 17th, when Collision and Rampage combined to create a supersized show. The stakes were high, the pay-per-view for Full Gear was almost here, and the contests looked like they would be explosive. We take you inside the action with our in-depth recap of AEW Collision and Rampage, covering all the highlights, outcomes, and reactions.

The massive evening began with a titanic battle between Daniel Garcia and Miro. The God’s Forsaken Champion, Miro, displayed his might by overwhelming Garcia and holding the upper hand the entire time. The fight was a masterclass in booking, with Garcia looking like the tenacious underdog and Miro like the unwavering force. Miro earned a strong B+ for his resounding triumph at the end of the match.

Before their Fatal 4-Way Ladder battle for the tag belts at Full Gear, Brody King and Malakai Black warmed up against The Boys, Dalton Castle’s sidekicks, in a short but ominous exchange. It was a glorified squash battle that demonstrated Black and King’s supremacy and established the dynamics of their upcoming title match.

Trent Beretta, Penta El Zero Miedo, Brian Cage, and Komander competed in the Fatal 4-Way match, which was a wild and exciting show. Strong action was preceded by trash talk, with luchadors bringing flair to the conversation. The match was a must-watch for AEW fans since it had so many crazy moments. Beretta was declared the winner and received a B+.

Wardlow showed off his tremendous strength and quickly established his dominance against an unfortunate local talent. Rush and Dax Harwood, on the other hand, got into a heated singles match that turned physical. The overall experience was diminished by the intervention and the violence, despite the excellent quality of the match, earning a B-.

Wheeler Yuta and Buddy Matthews engaged in a compelling singles match, showcasing their individual skill sets. Matthews, with his size and power advantage, faced Yuta’s speed and technical prowess. The evenly matched bout provided unpredictability, concluding with Matthews securing the pin. The House of Black’s presence added intrigue to the narrative.

Notable Moments and Observations:

Matthews’ size and power advantage

Yuta’s use of speed and technical ability

The collision portion concluded with a tag team match featuring The Outcasts against Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida. Despite some disconnect due to champions facing non-title challengers, the match offered good action. Statlander’s display of power, coupled with Shida’s finish, secured the victory.

Rampage opened with a TNT Championship clash between Christian Cage and Trent Beretta. The battle of veterans unfolded with Cage’s calculated heel tactics and Beretta’s resilience. Despite a somewhat predictable outcome, both competitors delivered an entertaining match, earning a B-.

The Rampage portion continued with Toni Storm facing Emi Sakura. The match, while fine for what it was, leaned more towards character development than in-ring competition. Storm’s attempt at scripting the match and Sakura’s amusement added layers to their dynamic, culminating in Storm’s victory.

AEW Collision and Rampage on November 17 delivered a supersized night of wrestling action, featuring dominant powerhouses, high-energy Fatal 4-Way clashes, intense showdowns, evenly matched duels, and character-driven dynamics. As the road to Full Gear unfolded, AEW fans were treated to a diverse range of matches, setting the stage for the upcoming pay-per-view. With notable moments, unpredictable outcomes, and the House of Black’s intriguing presence, the supersized night added another chapter to AEW’s compelling narrative.
