SmackDown March 22 Recap: WrestleMania 40 Build-Up Intensifies

While WWE is currently preparing for it WrestleMania 40, the upcoming SmackDown episode on March 22nd already set the stage with an amazing lineup of fights and storylines that further heightened the expectations for a great event. The thrill of the night was full of exceptional moments and gripping scenes – right from Roman Reigns overpowering Cody Rhodes to Rey Mysterio’s intense bout against Domingo Santos Escobar.

In the first contest of the night the torrid Rey Mysterio took on Santos Escobar to the thundering applause and cheers of the audience. Grayson Waller, and Austin Theory went against Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows trying to get a spot at WrestleMania 40.
