3 Possible Matches That Can Be Added In Tonight’s Episode Of AEW Dynamite – 27 September 2023

1 years ago By Sports Desk

Fans of professional wrestling around the world are eagerly looking forward to tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, set for September 27, 2023. You can be sure they won’t be let down. This show will be live from the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, CO, and promises to deliver high-energy matches, surprising plot twists, and the unique AEW atmosphere that fans cherish.

While the match card for tonight’s Dynamite has been announced and currently includes only two matches, there are three additional segments to be featured. The card won’t be limited to just these two matches. This is a Go-Home Show for AEW WrestleDream, which is happening this Sunday, October 1, in collaboration with NJPW to commemorate the first anniversary of the passing of Antonio Inoki, the Founder of NJPW.

Let’s take a look at the potential additional matches that could be added to tonight’s Dynamite card:

3) Zack Sabre Jr. in Action

To introduce Zack Sabre Jr. to the AEW Universe, there could be an open challenge match for Zack Sabre Jr.’s NJPW World TV Championship. Naturally, Zack should emerge victorious to maintain his momentum before his upcoming clash with Bryan Danielson at AEW WrestleDream. This would provide Zack with a platform to showcase his technical prowess and background to the AEW Universe, many of whom may not be avid followers of NJPW. It would also offer a glimpse of Zack’s wrestling skills. After the match, Zack could attack his opponent, prompting Bryan to come to the rescue. This would lead to a face-to-face confrontation or even a brief exchange of words, with referees separating them, building anticipation for their official match at AEW WrestleDream. This would not only advance their storyline but also keep fans engaged.

2) Samoa Joe vs. An Opponent of His Choosing or an Open Challenge

Having lost a one-on-one match last week against MJF for the AEW World Championship, Samoa Joe needs to maintain his strength heading into WrestleDream and release his frustration. He could face a less challenging opponent, allowing him to look strong despite his loss the previous week. This match would also allow another wrestler to shine on the big stage against a competitor of Samoa Joe’s caliber.

1) Tag Team Match: Eddie Kingston & Katsuyori Shibata vs. A Formidable Tag Team

The official match between Eddie Kingston and Katsuyori Shibata for AEW WrestleDream this Sunday may seem random, considering they are both champions (Eddie as NJPW Strong Open Weight Champion and ROH World Champion, and Shibata as ROH Pure Champion). However, they share a common history in NJPW, which makes it somewhat acceptable. To showcase their in-ring skills to the AEW Universe and demonstrate their chemistry, they could team up for a tag match against an established tag team. This would bring out the best in them and determine if they can coexist effectively.

These are the three matches that fans might have hoped to see added to tonight’s AEW Dynamite, the Go-Home Show for AEW WrestleDream. What are your thoughts, or do you have any matches you would have liked to see on AEW Dynamite?

And Here’s the current announced card for tonight’s event:

1. Contract Signing for WrestleDream: Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page will come face-to-face to sign the contract for their WrestleDream showdown.

2. MJF and Adam Cole Speak: MJF and Adam Cole will have their say, likely addressing their recent developments and plans.

3. Jim Ross Sit-Down Interview: Jim Ross will conduct a sit-down interview with Darby Allin and the TNT Champion, Christian Cage, providing insights into their thoughts and upcoming challenges.

4. Julia Hart vs. Willow Nightingale: Julia Hart will step into the ring against Willow Nightingale in what promises to be an exciting matchup.

5. Four-Way Match: Penta El Zero Miedo will take on Matt Jackson, Orange Cassidy, and Austin Gunn in a thrilling four-way battle.

These are the scheduled segments and matches for tonight’s event. Stay tuned for what promises to be an action-packed episode of AEW Dynamite!
