Blair Davenport Sets To Face Kelani Jordan at WWE NXT No Mercy

1 years ago By Sports Desk

WWE NXT is finalizing preparations for its next Premium Live Event, which will take place this weekend from Bakersfield, California. The event’s card features a total of six matches, five of them headliners, highlighting the confrontation between Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov, in what will be a rematch of NXT The Great American Bash.

Meanwhile, with two days left until the show, the company has added a new fight to the card. This was announced on their social networks, confirming that Blair Davenport and Kelani Jordan will face each other in an individual fight. It should be noted that Jordan challenged the British once the last weekly episode of NXT concluded after the second attacked Gigi Dolin backstage.

The young woman was interviewed backstage by Kelly Kincaid, who asked her about her participation in the next women’s edition of the NXT Breakout Tournament. Jordan claimed to be excited by the great opportunity that had been presented to her, although she also felt that her world had changed drastically (referring to the dismissal of Dana Brooke from WWE).

Kincaid agreed that these were difficult times, and asked the young woman to share her feelings. Jordan responded, “I’m upset. I’m angry, Kelly! But I’m going to use that anger to recharge. Hey, Blair. I saw what you did to Gigi tonight. She’s not cleared, but I am. Like this “Well, I can use my anger against you this Saturday in Bakersfield.”

It should be noted that Jordan will make her debut in an NXT PLE. The wrestler had her first televised match in the company last May, losing to Wendy Choo at NXT Level Up. Kelani soon debuted on the brand’s main show, where she was paired with Dana Brooke, who seemed poised to perform. a turned heel. However, her unexpected dismissal forced creative plans for both women to be cancelled.

For her part, Blair Davenport has become one of the brand’s main heels. Blair was revealed as the mysterious assailant who had injured several women on the roster, such as Nikkita Lyons and Sol Ruca. Currently, she is in a rivalry with Gigi Dolin, although the British have threatened the entire NXT women’s roster. Therefore, it is not surprising that she accepted Jordan’s challenge.

WWE NXT No Mercy will take place on Saturday, September 30 at the Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield, California. Fans will be able to watch this event live from the venue, or through its exclusive broadcast on WWE Network and Peacock in the United States.
